About Solicitors Title
Solicitors Title has been active in property law since the late 1990s The company took the opportunity to diversify in 2013 when Richard James joined at as partner in the field of corporate commercial. The firm now has specialisations in franchising, motor sport and noise and nuisance.
This west country law firm may be relatively small, but they certainly punch above their weight in terms of the quality of service that they are able to offer their clients. Their size allows them to offer a personal level of service, but with the expertise of a much larger organisation. They have proved this recently by being shortlisted in the inaugural Devon and Somerset Law Society 2016 Awards.
Nominated as Law Firm of The Year for 1-10 Partners, this isn’t the first time they’ve been acknowledged for excellence in their field. In 2015 they were awarded the title of Best Corporate Law firm – South West.
The need to modernise
When Richard James joined Solicitors Title in 2013, the company commissioned Purplebox Digital to design a new website to reflect its diversified capability. This website was highly successful culminating in winning Best Business Website for Solicitors Title in the 2014 Western Gazette Business Awards.
This website was still functioning well for the company, however as an ever growing and diversifying modern company, the time had come to refresh the website. An increase in the range of services offered would allow them to modernise the site, improve customer navigation and increase functionality. Purplebox Digital were able to provide filtered case studies for each service offered and add an online payment system; something that is relatively forward thinking for legal websites.
As Purplebox Digital had been so successful in providing their previous website, there was no doubt in Solicitors Title’s mind that Purplebox Digital knew the company well enough to deliver a new and dynamic website to represent the capabilities of the company.
A website is a strong PR tool for Solicitors Title and is a an opportunity for the company to visually represent what they stand for, their capabilities and their brand. As such, once they discovered that they had been shortlisted for the Devon and Somerset Law Society 2016 Awards, it became imperative that the website was complete in time to be able to tell people about it at the awards ceremony. As Purplebox Digital were so familiar with the requirements of the company, they were more than able to deliver within the new, tighter timescales.
Solution in action
Solicitors Title is already making good use of their new website and were able to start spreading the word about its launch at the recent Devon and Somerset Law Society 2016 Awards. The company hope that this will start to drive increased traffic to the site very quickly. They are also publishing case studies of the work they have achieved. They regularly blog on recent updates and events within the company which they can share through social media. Something that is relatively forward thinking for the company is the addition of online payment for clients. They are also pleased that there is the capability to increase the functionality of the website should they need to in the future.

In terms of analytics, Solicitors Title have already seen a 20% decrease in bounce rate and an 88% increase in mobile traffic.
